Some glitch in my system fried both Starkrimson Mono’s shortly after installing directly from Gesgelli J3 DAC with XLR cables. Leo warranted both amps and upgraded them to the Starkrimson 25 mono premiums, for a small fee.
Needless to say I’m VERY happy with Orchards’s customer service.

Outstanding customer service for a fantastic set of amps!
These are my first pair replacing my legacy Adcom GF555.
The Adcom was well reviewed in its day but the Starkrimson’s outdo them in impact, detail and transparency – in short, more like a live performance!

This is my first Orchard Audio and I am extremely pleased. I purchased them for my second system at my vacation home. It is a small system, paired with Monacoustic Platimon VC One speakers and a Bluesound Node Icon Streamer/Preamp. All components seam very well matched. Love the sound, great soundstage, clear and detailed highs with no harshness and tight punchy bass. I highly recommend Orchard Audio!

Absolutely one of those components that will have you feeling like you’re listening to your favorite music for the first time ever. I even had my wife sit down for a few stand-out tracks and she stayed there for an extra 30min going through some selections of her own. I’m not going to go into all the “catch word” details of what these amps add , or don’t add, to the music. If they’re in your budget and you think your current amp might not be cutting it, just buy them!

I am really happy with this Class D Amp as it produces substantially less hiss from the speakers when compared with my previous Class D amplifier while delivering similar sound quality.
One thing that I notice was that one of the two amps has pretty loud coil whine which I was able to solve by putting the amp in a cabinet.
If that is an option or you sit more than 4m away from the amp this is likely perfect for you too.

This little gem sounds amazing, dynamic, fast, transparent, 3D with a lot of inner detail and focus, and yet very neutral – I had difficulty to describe its sonic signature if there is any at all. Very happy with the purchase.

The Starkrimson Mono Premium is truly stunning. It brought an even-handed speed, detail, and grip across the audible frequency band to my system that I never thought was possible. From the transparent highs to the depth and absolute control of sub-bass, it’s been quite a long time since I’ve been astounded by a new component in my system.
The beauty is that this transparency doesn’t feel like an assertion of the amp itself, but the amps remain very transparent to my sources. More than other high-end amps I’ve had in my system before, the Starkrimson Mono Premiums showcase source differences with lucid clarity.
I couldn’t be happier—especially given the high energy efficiency running and the zero heat generated (at least none I could feel with my hand on it).

Amplifiers sound wonderful! I will say that I heard a significant audible improvement after hooking them up with the RCA to XLR converter.

The hype is real. Quiet, clean, small, and impossibly fast, and use very little power and barely give off any heat. Using these monoblocks with very short speaker cables that Leo made and I could not be happier. The new case design makes this look like the premium product that it is. I can’t imagine a better amp, or a better company to work with.

Small, lightweight, cool running and does exactly what a good amplifier is supposed to do – amplify the signal with minimal distortion or coloration. Absolutely dead silent when no signal is present and plenty of power without hardness when turning the volume up. Very happy with the Mono Premiums.

There are lots of choices for amplifiers these days. Gan tech has revolutionized amplifier technology as you can read in any number of online articles. I was looking at all these super heavy, as well as expensive, tube amps. My speaker maker was recommending mid to high priced Kt-88 tube amps plus some of the lower end Chinese makers. I went to a demo of Leo’s amps at his Rockaway studio/office and it was just wow.
They were quiet, powerful and just awesome sounding. I could own 2 150w monoblocks for a ton less than a mid rated tube amp that needs time to warm up, uses a ton of energy, weighs a lot more, and will need tubes replaced in time. One listen to these amps, and to me and anyone else, this is a no brainer! Leo is easy to talk to with questions, super fast on email replies. Add in, that with my My Emotiva RMC1 pure stereo mode, it just sounds amazing when used to just power my front speakers. I also really appreciate they are made in the United States. I don’t have reviewers ears, but I know what I like when I hear it. These amps are the best bang for the buck I can imagine. I have read in Leo’s recommendations that a tube preamp is the next step, and I can’t wait to get one and try it out. I can’t recommend Leo’s amps and other products enough! They are some of the values in audio today! Buy in total confidence and enjoy the amazing sound!

I’m not great at writing reviews, but I do know that I am very happy with these amps. I was a little wary of going class D, but with these amps, my concerns were unwarranted. There is no class D glare or shrillness. The sound – from bass to highs – is tight, detailed, clean and extremely transparent. I can’t really tell if they have a sound signature of their own because I think they just get out of the way and let my speakers and preamp do the talking. My speakers are low sensitivity and these amps have plenty of power and headroom to spare while running very cool. My setup has never sounded better. Highly recommended.

These monoblocks are excellent. The quality of all components that make this amp are superb. The fully differential GaN design effortlessly drives my 4 ohm <90db efficient cbt24 speakers. I love the form factor of the enclosures. The sound quality is wonderful. I am very impressed how such a small amp can perform so well in all aspects. Well done!
